Carol Caley is the founder and principal of Carol Caley & Associates. She is a consulting marketing professional, thought leader, writer, editor and graphic designer. She hikes, swims, loves dogs, supports the arts, is an amateur photographer and reads obsessively. She spends a lot of time thinking, writing and talking about women’s leadership, brands and why we love them, social and all kinds of media, education, and technology. She serves as consulting marketing communications director of Leadership California, where she frequently interviews influential women leaders and writes and publishes articles on women’s leadership.
Carol has a background as a design creative, developing visual brand identities, presentation materials, electronic and print communications, and advertising for organizations. She produces content for publications and manages social media accounts.
Carol taught graphic design at Pasadena City College and Mt. Sierra College, and served on their digital media advisory boards. She has served on the executive boards of Women in Design-LA and the National Association of Women Business Owners-Los Angeles. She has been an active volunteer with Leadership Pasadena and Women at Work, and a docent with the Pasadena Museum of History. She is a member of the Angeles Crest Art Guild. Articles about her creative studio have been published in the Los Angeles Times and Wells Fargo’s Business magazine.
